Privacy Policy

We keep this simple and honest: we collect very little, we never sell it, and everything below describes what this site and our tools actually do.

Who we are

AM2 Analytics (am2analytics.com) is a sales and financial analytics consultancy that builds custom dashboards, business apps, and data pipelines on Microsoft Azure. For anything in this policy, contact mike@am2analytics.com.

What we collect on this website

  • Contact and demo form submissions. When you use our contact or demo forms, we receive what you type: your name, email address, company (optional), and message. Submissions are captured by an Azure Function and stored in an Azure SQL database we control.
  • Basic server logs. Our hosting platform (Azure Static Web Apps) keeps standard technical logs — things like IP address, request URL, and timestamp — used for security and troubleshooting.
  • A language preference. If you switch the site between English and Spanish, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

This site runs no third-party advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. Every script and font is served from our own domain. The client portal sign-in uses essential authentication cookies only — nothing for tracking or ads.

How we use it

We use the information above to respond to your inquiries, schedule conversations you request, and provide our services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

Client data

When we build dashboards, apps, or pipelines for a client, the business data we process belongs to the client and is handled under the terms of our service agreement with them. We access it only to deliver the engaged work, and it remains the client's property throughout and after the engagement.

Connected accounts (Google / YouTube)

Some internal AM2 tools can connect to a user's Google or YouTube account — always with that user's explicit OAuth consent. These tools read only the user's own data (for example, the videos they have liked) and use it solely to provide the functionality that user requested. This data is not shared with anyone else, not sold, and not used for advertising.

You can revoke a tool's access at any time from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

AM2 Analytics' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention

We keep contact form submissions for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and maintain our business records, and we delete them on request. Server logs are retained on the standard short cycles of our hosting platform. Client data retention follows the applicable service agreement.

Security

Everything we run is hosted on Microsoft Azure, served over HTTPS, and built from source-controlled code. Access to stored data is limited to the two founders. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply the same security practices to our own site that we apply to client work.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mike@am2analytics.com and we will respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date. Substantive changes to how we handle connected-account data will be reflected here before they take effect.
